The CHildren and Infant Listening Laboratory\n(CHILL) explores how infants, children, and adolescents with hearing loss\nwearing cochlear implants communicate with others, and how communication\naffects quality of life (e.g., social-emotional well-being). The CHILL uses\nvisual habituation, eye tracking, and clinical assessments to evaluate\nshort-term and long-term effects of hearing loss on speech, language, hearing,\nand quality of life outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
