Speech Perception Laboratory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Speech Perception Laboratory conducts research on the perception of speech. We investigate how listeners cope with variability in the acoustic patterns of speech across talkers, and how these abilities are affected by noise and hearing loss. We are constructing a speech database from adults and children to provide the materials for listening experiments, acoustical analyses and model development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
