As a result of\nthis workshop, the participant will be able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. List\nthree assessment tools that can help practitioners understand the feeding\nenvironment in the home.<\/li>
  2. Identify\npractical ways of meeting a child\u2019s fundamental needs in the context of feeding\ninterventions.<\/li>
  3. List\nthree opportunities for parents to support a responsive feeding and therapy\nrelationship outside of \u201cdoing therapy\u201d. <\/li>
  4. Describe\nthe critical role of hunger in the enjoyment and motivation of eating, and in\ngiving children the opportunity to develop and tune in to appetite. <\/li>
  5. Identify\nsubtle stressors that can\u202fimpact the development of responsive mealtimes.\u202f <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
