With the spread of coronavirus, we are\nintroducing a comprehensive and patient-centered telehealth practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Callier Center\naudiologists are available to consult with you remotely<\/strong> regarding your hearing concerns. We will provide hearing aid\nrecommendations through consultation available on our telehealth systems. Unfortunately,\ndiagnostic hearing testing cannot be accurately completed online, as they require\ncalibrated diagnostic equipment available in the office. If this service is\nneeded, testing may be scheduled at a later date, but we will help you the best\nwe are able until an in-person visit is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hearing aid maintenance\nand troubleshooting are available through telehealth<\/strong>. Using video, our audiologists and technicians can check your\nhearing aids and help you resolve many issues. Phone visits may also provide\nadequate guidance. If your hearing aids need repair, we now offer mail-in\nand drop-off services<\/strong> for your safety and convenience. Through telehealth, we can continue to provide excellent fittings and\nremote adjustments to your hearing aid settings while you remain safely at\nhome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the Callier Center, we offer remote classes and\nconsultations for those with hearing loss and their communication partners.<\/strong> Communication techniques are discussed and practiced. You may benefit\nfrom the support of these group sessions from the comfort of your own home. Telehealth\nprovides us with the unique ability to perform certain evaluations that could\nnot be completed in-office.
