Speech-Language Pathology Consultations
Not sure if you or your child needs a speech-language evaluation? Do you have questions about your child’s language development? Do you just want a quick visit to ask some general questions? Schedule a consultation with one of our speech-language pathologists today! A consultation does not include testing or therapy and does not include the child. This 30-minute appointment can be done via teletherapy, over the phone or in person. Suggestions for additional services may be suggested based on the consultation. If you already know you or your child needs services and you/your child have had an evaluation, then an intake appointment to determine if you are appropriate for a particular program may be the best option for you.

Individual therapy is provided for a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to:
- Language delay/disorder
- Articulation delay/disorder
- Motor speech disorders (apraxia, dysarthria)
- Oral-motor/feeding disorders
- Craniofacial disorders
- Hearing impairment

- Social communication disorders
Speech Programs
SPARC
SPeech and ARtiCulation (SPARC) group is designed to improve speech sound production, speech movement patterns and intelligibility in children ages 3 and 4 years old. The group program is appropriate for children who are motivated to communicate, but their verbal speech is often not understood by communication partners.
The program uses a thematic play-based learning environment to support relevant, meaningful, and functional speech and language therapy for the children enrolled. The program will also introduce and address phonological awareness (pre-reading) skills. Individual goals are addressed for children who have moderate to severe speech sound (phonological, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, motor speech) disorders and delays. The program is led by a certified, licensed speech-language pathologist with the support of graduate student clinicians.
Cost: $90/session (may be insurance eligible) + $150 nonrefundable enrollment fee

Super Speech
Super Speech is a speech and articulation group designed for preschool- and kindergarten-age children who have speech sound errors. The program is appropriate for children who have mild to severe speech sound disorders and delays. These children intend to communicate but struggle to be understood by familiar and unfamiliar listeners. We work with children to improve their overall speech quality and intelligibility.
Super Speech adopts a hybrid approach using both play-based techniques and drill practice to maximize progress toward individual goals. The environment is motivating and exciting to engage the children and encourage improvement. The program targets individual goals, overall speech sound quality and pre-reading skills (phonological awareness). The Super Speech program is led by a certified, licensed speech-language pathologist with the support of graduate and undergraduate clinicians.
Cost: $90 per session (may be insurance eligible) + $150 nonrefundable enrollment fee due prior to program start to secure enrollment.

Language Programs
Early CLASS (Communication, Language And Social Skills)
The Early CLASS is a classroom-based speech, language and communication program for children ages 3 – 5 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their parents. The curriculum was developed using the SCERTS philosophy (Prizant and colleagues, 2006).
Intervention focuses on the core features of ASD and helps children become more competent communicators while preventing problem behaviors that interfere with learning and relationships. We provide behavioral therapy with a developmental perspective. Speech-language pathologists trained in the SCERTS program are assisted in the classroom by graduate student clinicians.
Cost: $90 per session (may be insurance eligible) + $150 nonrefundable enrollment fee due prior to program start to secure enrollment.

Preschool Language Development Program (PLDP)
PLDP (Preschool Language Development Program) is a therapeutic program designed for children ages 3 to 5 years with language disorders. In a classroom setting, participants receive intensive group language intervention and participate in developmentally appropriate activities within thematic units to address individual speech and language goals.
The goal of PLDP is to create a natural environment through which children can improve communication abilities with adults and same-age peers. The focus is on expressive and receptive language development as well as school/classroom readiness skills. One-to-one clinician/client support that is scaffolded based on each child’s needs helps increase confidence, which leads to greater independence in peer-related communication. The program also includes both standardized and criterion-referenced assessment of the child’s language skills.
Cost: $90 per session (may be insurance eligible) + $150 nonrefundable enrollment fee due prior to program start to secure enrollment.

Preverbal Communication Program
The Preverbal Communication Program provides intense communication intervention for toddlers ages 18 months – 3 ½ years who are non-verbal or in the early stages of developing the use of language. Children appropriate for the program include those diagnosed with receptive/expressive language disorder, ASD, developmental delay, or those who have difficulty producing speech sounds, as well as those for whom the diagnosis is unclear.
A one-to-one ratio of clinician to child ensures that children have adult support in their attempts to participate and communicate in group activities and individual speech-language therapy.
Cost: $90 per session (may be insurance eligible) + $150 nonrefundable enrollment fee due prior to the start of the program to secure enrollment.
