Rosemarie Ewton, President, Foundation for the Callier Center and Communication Disorders Board of Trustees
As President of the Foundation for the Callier Center and Communication Disorders, Rosemarie provides leadership for the independent 501(c)(3) organization that serves in an advisory and fundraising capacity to the Executive Director of the Callier Center for Communication Disorders. In this role, she helps advance the Foundation’s mission to elevate Callier’s visibility, strengthen its reputation across the UT System, and support philanthropic efforts that expand access to care, education, and research.
Rosemarie’s involvement with Callier began in 2020 through her service on the Philanthropy Committee of the Northwood Woman’s Club, which selected Callier as the sole beneficiary of the club’s 50th Anniversary fundraiser. The event raised $250,000, and with a generous matching gift, resulted in the establishment of the Northwood Woman’s Club Patient Care Endowment Fund at Callier.
Rosemarie and her husband, Dr. Maynard Ewton, share a deep commitment to improving healthcare, with a particular passion for advancing autism research and education. This area of focus has grown significantly at Callier since the opening of the Callier Autism Center in Dallas in 2015.
Through her service on the Foundation for Callier Center Board of Trustees and now as President, Rosemarie continues to champion Callier’s mission, helping ensure that innovative treatment, training, and research are accessible to individuals and families who need them most.
