Welcome to the Callier Parents’ Association (CPA)
By enrolling your child in the Callier Child Development Program, you are automatically a member. CPA is a social organization that strives to promote a feeling of community among our children and parents and acts as a conduit between our teachers and parents. We have several events throughout the year and would love you and your child’s participation in social and fundraising events. We hope you will volunteer and be an active member of your child’s school. Every minute helps! We will email links to volunteer in our Callier e-news summary and reminder emails the week before each event.
CPA Social Events
CPA social events are run by the CPA and do not include the teacher-run events like the Lunar New Year Celebration or the Halloween Parade.
Welcome Celebration: 8/15/25
This is a time to welcome all of the new families and to say hello to friend within and outside of your classroom. Pizza is provided for everyone!
CPA Picnic: 10/12/25
Join us for a wonderful play date in the sun and shade of Scottish Rite Park. Snacks are provided. It is a great way to see your little ones playing with their friends!
Winter Wonderland: 2/09/26
One of our most popular events, Winter Wonderland is a school-wide celebration of all things winter. We have craft and activity tables representing winter holidays across many cultures: Winter Solstice, Chanukah, Christmas, Divali, Las Posadas, Dongzhi, Kwanzaa, and other “snowy” activities. We even offer free pictures with Santa! It really is so much fun.
CPA Staff Appreciation Days: 2/13/26 & 5/08/26
To show our staff our love and thanks, we organize a luncheon for them and give them gift cards to a popular store. Also, during the week, we give them extra hugs, flowers from our gardens or whatever you and your child want to do to show your love!
Fundraisers
Book Fair: 9/19/26
The Scholastic Book Fair is a great way to stock up on your child’s favorite books, enhance the supply of books in the classroom and raise funds that go directly to Callier classrooms Please join us! We need help setting up, running the till and cleaning up.
Silent Auction: 4/09/26 & 4/10/26
The silent auction is our major fundraiser for the school. Parents request donations from area and national businesses and ask the teachers to assemble class art projects, as well as donate their precious time in fun one-on-one activities with our kids. Parents may preview items and bid online. Then, parents come to the silent auction to win fabulous things that support their child’s education.
