Infant Learning Project
The Infant Learning Project (ILP) studies how infants attend and respond to infant-directed speech and to facial emotions, with focus on how babies learn to distinguish different messages conveyed by the prosody of speech and different emotions conveyed by facial expressions. The ILP employs eye tracking and habituation procedures to understand development of these early perceptual and social-communicative skills.
