Callier Ambassador Winter Coffee Talk: “The Impact of Speech-language Pathology: Building Connections and Communication Skills While Improving Family Mealtime and Supporting Even the Pickiest Eaters.”
Join Callier speech-language pathologist Jenny McGlothlin. She will share the positive impact that therapy has for patients diagnosed with speech, language and/or feeding disorders and delays. You will learn: More about the field of speech-language pathology, how to identify if an individual might need an evaluation, types of therapy and its benefits, how to build communications connections and how to improve family mealtime.
Jenny earned her master’s in speech-language pathology (SLP)at The University of Texas at Dallas and has been a practicing SLP for 23 years. She is the co-author of the books, “Helping Your Child with Extreme Picky Eating: A Step-by-Step Guide for Overcoming Selective Eating, Food Aversion, and Feeding Disorders” and “Conquer Picky Eating for Teens and Adults: Activities and Strategies for Selective Eaters.”
