Campers will participate in musical-themed activities centered around the core musical scenes featured in the shows Wicked and The Wizard of Oz. Activities will include dance, arts/crafts, lighting, makeup, and costume and prop development, all while learning how to use hearing technology in more environments than just home or school.
On Friday, campers will perform selections from the musicals, Wicked and The Wizard of Oz, for families. On Saturday, campers and their families will attend the professional production of Wicked at Broadway Dallas!
This theatre experience is in collaboration with the Pediatric Auditory Technology and Habilitation (PATH) program in the Doctorate of Audiology program at The University of Texas at Dallas, Broadway Dallas, Hear Us Now, Dr. Linda Thibodeau’s Hearing Health Lab, and Dr. Andrea Warner-Czyz’s Children and Infant Listening Lab.

Ages: School-aged children (K-12th) with hearing loss and their siblings (K-12th).
Cost: $300 per child for camp, with scholarships available if needed. All families will pay a $50 deposit per camper to reserve a spot for their child/ children. Cost includes two tickets – one for the camper and one for a parent/caregiver – for the Saturday matinee performance.
