Megan and Justin Steinbach’s journey with the Callier Center began when their son, Lucas, was diagnosed with moderate hearing loss at age three. Through their unwavering support and the expert, compassionate care provided by Callier audiologist Dr. Lisa Richards, Lucas has grown into a self-assured young man who confidently speaks up for himself in school and sports. The Steinbachs are a powerful testament to the impact of early intervention and comprehensive care and are passionate about increasing awareness of Callier’s life-changing services throughout the community.

About the Luncheon
Hosted by the Foundation for the Callier Center, the Callier Cares Luncheon is the Callier Center’s signature annual fundraising event. The purpose of the luncheon is to raise resources through the Callier Care Fund to benefit children and adults who otherwise could not afford clinical care to overcome speech, language and hearing disorders.
Proceeds Will Benefit Patients in Need through the Callier Care Fund
Ruth and Ken Altshuler created the Callier Care Fund to ensure that children and adults would have access to essential care regardless of their income level or insurance coverage. Because of the Altshulers’ benevolence, these patients have the opportunity to overcome speech, language and hearing disorders, so that they may hear, speak and connect with the world.
