Treatment: Ensuring Access to Care

Because of you, patients receive access to clinical care, when insurance does not cover the cost of hearing and speech-language services.

The Callier Center cares for individuals of all ages who have difficulty engaging in a fundamental and essential human skill: communication.

Communication is the foundation of strong, meaningful relationships: to hear and be heard, to understand and be understood. Communication is key to building relationships at home, at school, at work – everywhere. Relationships affect every aspect of our being, giving our lives meaning and purpose through family, friendship and community. Communication is a gift that lasts a lifetime.

Through your support, we are able to give children and adults access to the care and treatment they need, regardless of their ability to pay. The Callier Center provides financial assistance to approximately 34% of its patients each year.

Our exemplary team of audiologists and speech-language pathologists evaluate and treat about 4,000 patients and provide about 40,000 clinical services annually. Our ultimate goal is to help patients overcome speech, language and hearing disorders.
